El Salvador to Invest $ 100 Million in Housing

The National Popular Housing Fund plans to build 6,742 public houses in 2011.
Marco Fortin, president of the institution, referred to the seven projects managed by the government under the Home for All program.
The more advanced projects are those of Nuevo Belen, with 495 houses, which this year will begin title process, and La Bretaña with 1,875 homes.
"Los Manantiales, in Sonsonate, with 308 houses, La Providencia, in Olocuilta, with 780 houses and Los Almendros II, in San Martin, with 1,800 houses, which are still in early stages of study, complete the 6.742 future homes", adds Maria José Saavedra in her article in Laprensagrafica.com.
