The MBA 2010 Rankings from AméricaEconomía highlight improvements in the quality of teaching and academic research.

Some of the aspects considered by the business, finance and economic analysis portal are:
- Effects of the financial crisis on Business Schools
- Competition for academic staff with a PhD or MSc
- Knowledge creation and sharing
- Dean profiles
- Entrance of new programs into global market
- Double degree programs
- Preferences of Latin American CEOs

“This year’s ranking draws on an improved methodology partly informed by constant dialogue with the schools, enabling a deeper evaluation of the components that make up the study. 2010 sees Mexico’s ITAM return to first place with Central American INCAE second (whose main campus is in Costa Rica) and the Chilean university Adolfo Ibáñez in third”.
